Body
A new born baby girl, sweet child Welcomed to my world, calm and mild. I'm sex deprived and ready for the war The violence travels straight to my door. But "Shock and Awe!" I must owe a call To Mr. Bush and Rummy for it all. I watch the bombs burst in my chair. My living room's filled with warm dry air My expectations, I admit, were raised And I was prepared to be amazed. So much so, that watching the bombs go Appeared somewhat small on the great ground below. It was almost as if no-body was, On the streets bleeding as a human does. That no child was in their room crying By the noise of future friends dying With parents yelling at them to shut up While fear of death was becoming very real. At least it is for a Just cause For our protection and we should applaud Our leader’s efforts and strain correct? For it is America he is trying to erect. We're no gangster, brute or lackey We removed Saddam for the Iraqi's. At least we did not use all of our might To occupy and blight the country, right? The people of Iraq wanted us there We were just helping to remove their despair. No Bin Lauden found in Afghanistan No Weapons amassed now on to Iran Minor flaws within our plan Our leaders know more than a hit man. No man, no American can stand and see People hurting in wars debris. They cannot watch the horror, death and fear Without so much as one welled tear. No Man, no American can heartlessly count The bodies of men while they mount. Our young boys in green, hard at work With their leader sending an obnoxious smirk. No Man, no American can use his sex Deprived mind to vex The American people so he can score A few more excuses to go to war. No Man, no American can let this stand Now that there's nothing in Arian sand. There's an alternative to brutal force One that doesn't lead to death and remorse.
