High Up in the Mountain Tops

As I sit up on the mountain top I got a chill.
As I sit up on that mountain top I could never get my fill
Of god and the sea buddha and me.
I picked them all up and threw them in the sea.

I sit, I sit up on the mountain top,
You forgot to see me through.
I sit, I sit up on the mountain top,
So now I'm dumping you.

As they sank into the foamy sea my heart grew deep and still.
As they sank in that foamy wake I finally felt fulfilled.
I was light, relaxed, drunk and good
And would change nothing of where I stood.

I sit, I sit up on the mountain top,
You forgot to see me through.
I sit, I sit up on the mountain top,
So now I'm dumping you.

Towards the sky I traveled next with all my will.
Toward that sky I worked to get my thrill.
Buddha and me god and the sea are always sly.
I found them all again beside me in the sky.

I sit, I sit up on the mountain top,
You forgot to see me through.
I sit, I sit up on the mountain top,
So now I'm dumping you.
